Century ‘Stars’ Deliver Everyday

Hugo awarded Century Star of the Year for 2014…

On Wednesday 17th December Century held their 2014 Star Award Winners Lunch. All of the award winners from 2014 together with their managers joined Stephen & Ann Basey-Fisher and the senior management team to celebrate another successful year for Century Logistics.

The prestigious Star of the Year was awarded to Hugo Araujo and the team award went to Team Flooring.

During the awards ceremony Stephen commented, “Picking winners from a company-wide team of good hard working people is really very difficult. But Hugo optimises Century’s values and culture and is a worthy winner for 2014. When one our customers order volumes went from 160 to 1300 in a week, Hugo put together a team and together worked day and night to ensure the products were delivered on time. This is just one of the many times Hugo has demonstrated our Integrity, Commitment and Excellence values and is a sinning Star for us all to emulate.”

As a keen football fan, Hugo will get to watch a Premiership match of his choice together with a friend courtesy of Century and Team Flooring will choose a social team event to enjoy together.

During the lunch Sarah Van Hinsbergh and Team Shesto were also awarded individual and team winners for Winter 2014.
