About the role: As part of the Client Services team, you will oversee the preparation, listing and sale of items via the Century Commerce eBay shop. Working alongside the Customer Care, Repair and Returns processing centres, the role encompasses liaising with stakeholders regarding items that can be sold on behalf of our customers generating a revenue from returned, refurbished or end of line stock. Reporting to the Head of Client Services, this is an exciting role which gives opportunity to our customers to reduce their environmental impact whilst adding to their sales revenue.

Qualifications:

  • IT literate, with good knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel.
  • Good organisational skills
  • Experience in a warehousing environment preferred
  • Previous experience of selling items on eBay or similar platform.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Previous experience of listing and selling items on eBay.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a small team.
  • Have a diligent and consistent approach to accomplishing good sales.
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach to tasks and workload

Key Accountabilities:

  • Check items for sale and their suitability for sale on eBay or other seller sites.
  • Grading of items so that they are ready for sale on eBay or other seller sites.
  • Listing items for sale on eBay to obtain sales.
  • Work to target sales forecasts.
  • Market products on eBay or other seller sites, using well-established selling procedures and techniques.
  • Provide excellent customer service to promote positive feedback on services.
  • Respond to customers’ enquiries regarding products, and shipment, ensuring that the right type and amount of information is forwarded.
  • Provide customers with information on shipment times, in addition to the cost of products.
  • Enter orders on WMS so that items can be picked and despatched to customers
  • Maintain stock levels of items for sale on eBay.
  • Pick, pack, label, and ship products to the customer, and provide delivery timelines.
  • Respond to customer queries regarding service & product quality, aiming to resolve issues.
  • Oversee the inventory to ensure product availability and assess stock situations.
  • Create and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure that products are delivered timely.
  • Provide customers with detailed information regarding payment options, band process credit, and debit card payments.
  • Handle returns and exchanges in sync with the guidelines provided by the company.
  • Provide reports and information around sales performance.
  • Create and provide sales invoice data to customers and senior team
