Stephen, the eldest of three brothers, is descended from Norfolk geese drovers and after graduating from agricultural college, began his working life on his family’s 350-acre farm. He diversified the business by building a grain store, and got involved in commercial warehousing. Later, he moved into forklift and health and safety training and started his own training company, Century Industrial Training. From there, he moved back into warehousing and has built the successful business Century Logistics.
Away from work, Stephen likes to spend time with his wife Ann and their four grown up children, Toby, Alex and twins Olie & Alice. A part from the occasional round of golf, Stephens’ real passions are Motor Racing and Horse Show Jumping.
Stephens’ aim is to significantly grow the company and be the logistics partner of choice in every market sector Century compete in.
“Coming from a farming background has given me a real ‘can-do attitude’ which I’ve managed to nurture within my business. It’s probably the thing I’m most proud of and I believe is the greatest strength of Century Logistics.”
